October Windy Mowing Residency

I am finishing up my fulbright advising and teaching at MICA next week and SUPER excicted to head to Vermont from there for this residency. Perfect time of year to spend in nature.... watching and seasons turn.... the end of somethings and birth of a new. Starting to think about my solo show in September 2020 in Pittsburgh and what this new body of work will be!?!?!?!

2019 Gowanus Open Studios Oct 19-20

October 19th and 20th
12-6pm
Spaceworks Gowanus Studios
540 President Street, Brooklyn (between 3rd and 4th ave)
Studio #10

It is that time of year! Mark your Calendars! My studio Spaceworks (540 President St - Basement Studio Complex #10) will be open during Gowanus Open Studios.

Gowanus Open Studios, aka GOS, is an annual weekend event that takes place in October. Artists in the Gowanus neighborhood (and slightly beyond) open their studio doors and welcome the public to view art, meet the artists, learn about the process of art-making, and get a glimpse of the life of artists. This year’s GOS 2019 is the weekend of October 19 - 20.

Fingers crossed it will be just as perfect as last year - Clear Sunny Skies and Great Company on this busy busy weekend.
Concurrently I have had work on view at Blue Table Post in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, all summer. On view by appointment - and we'll have a party there soon - stay tuned!

Blue Table Post private exhibition

From May 2019 - November 2019, Blue Table Post will host nine of my paintings throughout the lobby of their post production studio in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.

Founder Oliver Lief, curated an interesting selection of works, created between 2011 - 2019, that have never before been shown together. It has been an interesting experience seeing how thay relate and diverge throughout the eight year span.

Private viewing available by appointment - please contact me directly.

There will be a public recption in the Fall, stay tuned for details.
